I'm unsure why you think you might get JCV with 465 fw. 465 does not support JunCtionView, only LaneAssist (Turn arrows in top LH cnr) and of course importantly it gives you Truck Mode and Routes. Read the very last post in the Garniak thread and my earlier post #7 about SG/MY fw for JCV [but i advise don't try it, because imo that's why the other units bricked because of the earlier straight conversion to SG followed by >465]. Follow Loly's good advice and flash with the hybid fw keeping your HWID as 0827, it's the safest way by far.
hi before you post me i flash fw 465 HWID 943 and my nuvi is dead so i need to buy another one :(
this all nuvies 255, 205 , 200 W is all same ? i can buy 255W which can pass calibration screen or other where guy forgot pin number
or i think about this one is good price ?

The link you posted to Halfords is for nuvi 2445LMT, and 90 quid is about 135-140 in US bucks, and i don't consider that to be either a bargain or a rip-off, but i do think you can probably buy better if you look around.
As to the 255/205/200W differences: The 'normal' 2x0W models are very basic navigators, worth about $20 for a 200W, maybe $25-30 for a 260W imo. Your 're-released' 200W is for all purposes a 2x5W except in name, because it has the hw & fw of the hwid 0827 2x5W models which is why you could convert it to 465. Unfortunately you've done it the unsafe way using a straight conversion and not safely as Loly & i suggested.
You say your unit is dead after flashing, but do you mean it won't turn on by the on switch or when connecting to pc, or do you mean it turns on but won't boot? Post full details, if it powers on it might be recoverable.
its not turn on, no reaction on usb cabel nothing at all :(
i try bid on ebay garmin 1410 for 30-40 pounds i don't know is any good price for this model
Regards
Have you tried to hold power button down for > 30 seconds ?
When flash nuvi 2x5W to 465 unsafe way then unit is bricked all the way no recovery possible only if you buy programmer and fresh write on chip.
We brick about 10 nuvi 2x5W flashed with full FW from 465, but then i create hybrid that i posted in my previous post and in 3 month no nuvi was bricked with this flash.
maybe i can post you my nuvi anyway is brick ??
and what about this one nuvi garmin 1410 ? is much better or not ?
anyway i bought this unit today for 38 pounds
Regards
The 200W is not even worth the postage now unfortunately. Cost of programmer or replacement of flash memory + labour time would make recovery impractical really imo.
I like the 14x0 series, just be careful with the usb port and don't put any strain on the cable when it's plugged in as you can easily break the connections on the board. Treat it with care and it'll be OK. A bit heavy in hand, but robust other than the dodgy usb and a good size in the car. The 1410 was never sold here, but i think it's basically a 1490T with regional maps without the Traffic Receiver and it has all the 1490 features i.e. BT, LA, JCV, SLI, Routes[10] etc. Maybe some were sold without JCV but if so they can be tricked up with Loly's flash: [Only registered and activated users can see links. is any alternative software or i just enable hidden futures ?
