When you ask for help, you should actually try the suggestions that people make even if they don't make sense. :police:
We've had SD cards on this forum in the past that don't work in Nuvi.
Maybe they were originally formatted in Apple device or Android or Whatever ?
Windows retains the original format, there is more than ONE Fat32 Format.
You could try to format the card using RMPRepUSB as described in this forum [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Actually it could be a problem with the micro SD card because I was able to install the map on another nuvi device on a regular SD card. I appreciate everyone’s help and haven’t tried installing the maps on another micro SD because unfortunately I don’t have one, but I am going to buy one.
try to reformat the sd like dasilvarsa suggested with RMPRepUSB
