Default Maps loaded on ZUMO 550 SD card but not visable.

    Hi There,

I have followed numerous tutorials on this site and many others over the years and they have been great to me in the past.

I have run the IMG unlocker on a version of Aus topo V3 and also run the UNL keygen.

the files work fine in the gps and are visible if i disable the GMAPPROM files locally on the zumowith a .1 after the filename.

however when i have both the GMAPPROM file in the gps, with the hacked GMAPSUPP files on the SD, i can see both the files in the Map Info tab of the zumo, but it doesn't matter what boxes are checked or unchecked. i see the same GMAPPROM map at all times even when it is checkboxed off.

i do not have a GMAPBMAP at the moment, i was told to delete it by garmin to allow for increasing IMG file sizes.

It might be something simple, it might not be....but my head is busting trying to fix it at the moment.

    Thanks for any replies....

You have to navigate to get to the good.

Thanks for the reading information. i believe that i have followed all these posts to the letter, and both my city navigator and my topo map are visable in the MAP INFO tab of the unit. however it doesn't matter what boxes i have checked it seams that the same map is always showing up. there is no way to get the topo map showing up on its own. with out disabling the city navigator map all together.

Frustrating.....i can see the boxes checking and unchecking.......but still no difference on the screen when i go back to map......

    Thanks for your patience....

Provare ad abilitare solo una mappa, spegnere e riaccendere l'apparato
Stessa procedura con la seconda mappa

Try to enable only a map, cycle power to the apparatus
Same procedure with the second map

    Bye,bye
