    Default maps can't be unlocked

    i have a nevi 1255. map is downloaded to SD card i can use base camp to see it through the cable it shows all the City Navigation Maps but when i disconnect the cable and try to see it on the gps it says maps can't be unlocked
    i have try to use the unlock it through base camp it says unlocked and can get the codes. How to solve it ? thanks

    the following maps on SD card:
    1. 2576.png
    2. gmap3D.img
    3. Gmapprom.img
    4.gmapsupp.img
    5.gmapsupp.unl
    6.JCV111DU

    You can remove gmap3D.img as your nuvi does not support Gmap3d.img

    thanks for ur fast replied Now the situation as follows tools>settings>maps>info (no map info showed)[Only registered and activated users can see links. ][Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    copy each of the IMG files to a PC and run the "FastIMGUnlocker.exe" tool on each.
    After running the tool put them back on the card or wherever they came from and they should work

    There will then be no need for the .UNL file

    I have no idea what you have these files for but they are not maps

    You can run gimgunlock v0.01 also directly on your nuvi no need to copy map to pc.
    Just drag/drop over gimgunlock.exe and your done.
