    Hi Marius B,

Thank you for your detailed steps, with pics too. Now I really want to go home and test it out! Does it decrypt the scan codes and error codes on the Nuvi too?

Unfortunately, on the Thai / Asian fw, I did not get the 3 bars under the ecoroute menu. Which was why I had to flash my 3790V with 34xx US fw. It should work now (have not had the chance to try it yet) but the ecoroute menu now under the 34xx fw requires the ecorouteHD hardware. So thats a good sign. Will report back to see if that works, as this was the main reason I took the risk of flashing the US 34xx fw in my brand-new 3790V unit, although I do have an out of warranty 3770T.

I really appreciate the time you took to show the screens step by step.

    Chad

    Hi,

Yes, it will also decrypt the error codes.
The application is also under the ecoRoute Tab.

I hope you will make it work.

    Regards,
    Marius

    Sorry, 1376 is hwid of 34xx US/EU.
Your unit hwid was permanently changed to US. (from Thai).
    It's not Thai unit anymore.

Ok... I think I can live with that provided that it will work with the ecoroute HD hardware.

What about map updates? Will I still be able to download updated maps from
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
where I have the 3790v registered?

Well, it isn't all too bad then. But I can kiss my warranty good-bye, right?

    Thank you for your help.

No, Your warrantee is still ok. You can send this device to ESRI for rebuilding the ROM to be Thai again.
If you think it is worth then I will give you the way by PM.

I am beginning to consider it.

Provided I can turn my old 3770T to 34xx with all the features enabled like my current modified 3790V. Especially the ecorouteHD module.

Thanks for the good news and support.

    Please PM me.
