Reply With QuoteCCleaner will wipe the registry and provides the option to delete the uninstall entry in Add Remove Programs/Programs and Features. You'd have to delete the WebUpdater directory itself which can be done by hand. However, I would advise you to keep in mind that this may not fix your problem, because the problem could lie deeper than in a program. In my case, attempting to uninstall a program failed. I used System Restore to roll back to an earlier date but the problem persisted. I was left with no choice but to completely wipe my computer and reinstall Windows from scratch, because the OS couldn't see the backup that I had made.

How to properly uninstall the garmin webupdater?
On another occasion I tried to uninstall webupdater because the same can not update the previously installed version, then used as an alternative Revo Unistaller Pro got completely uninstall it and install a new version. However, yesterday I had problems with webupdater and chose to uninstall and re-install it, but I have not had success with the new installation. Anyone know of any program that can properly clean the registry and any other remnant of the installation fails?
