Thread: nuvi 2340 and city xplorer

Hi, New to all this so please excuse any dumb questions!

I have downloaded a copy of CX Munich 2012-30 as a disc image. Today the 2340 updated to 2012-40. Can I assume that the CX will work with the new map load?

I have tried unsucessfully to get the enhanced pedestrian mode to work on my unit. Up to now I have read and tried to implement guidelines on this website and others but no success.

I am using an 8Mb SDHC which has a folder called Maps. In there is the Munich file titled Munchen_2012_30.img. I have used Jetmouse 1.5 with various combinations of FID and PID and entered those into a Notepad file called Munchen_2012_30.unl which is in the Map folder.

Can anyone tell me how to get this map working, if indeed its possible now that the unit sw has been updated. Thank you
