Red face oregon 400t routing issue

hi, if i miss a point/roadmark on my route and pick up the route later, why does the unit want to take me back to the begining of the route again, how do i stop this or alter my settings to allow me to pick up the route at anypoint along the way, it is very frustrating. Also if i recalculate off and on road to reset from the point im at, it alters from the original route, thanks Jack

If you have a route of let say two points (start and end) it will direct you to the first point of the route. (the begining of the route.) No other choice I think. But if you put the last point of the route as a destination it should navigate you to it. Have you tried with multipoint route?

hi, yes i use mapsource to plan my routes, i use the options of the longest route then edit the route in mapsource to my needs, it didnt do it when i first had it but it does now, i plan quite complex routes and its so frustrating when it all gors to pot after just a few km, if we go off route i cancel that particular route, then view the route in route planner and input a sub route closest to the route in question then when i arrive at that point i put the original route back into action but as i pick it up it starts to calculate the remainde of the route plus the section i missed then continually redirects me back to where we came from, surley iys smart enogh to know i dont want that,,,,,whats your approach

TBH with you I rarely use my gps for routing. Mainly for marking waypoints, tracks and orientation. If I use it for routing I use tracks.
