Default nüvi 3790T and Google earth 's Real time

Is there any way to connect nüvi 3790T to the PC to get the realtime positioning ? It keeps getting into USB MASS STORAGE mode via USB conection. Maybe a USB cable connected to the Garmin Mount (the connection used by the GMT35) ? Franson GpsGate ?

    Thank you.

With Asian firmware. You'll see the option "Mass storage mode - Garmin mode" to select for USB connecting..

Good to know that it's possible. Thank you !
But still too risky for me ! Some day I will give it a try.

Would someone know if this kind of feature will someday get into the "official" US-firmware ? Or are there any other way to get real time positioning keeping the original firmware ? Any "special" usb-cable ?

    Thank you all !
