Does anyone knows how to install driving maps on a SD card for Garmin GPSmap620?
Does anybody have an experience how to get the HomePort to show tracks from marine chart of VEU050R (v2012.5) card? I have HomePort version 2.1.1 and GPSMAP620 sw v3.70.
I can get tracks which has been created under drive functionality, but nothing downloaded from marine chart. Yesterday I have been at sea, I can see track and tracking points over my Garmin device, but not over PC and HomePort.
To unlock VEU050R I used gimgunlock.
Thanks a lot in advance!
I would like to give an answer to my own question, because I found solution.
Active tracks are not saved into micro Sd card, were is located marine map. To get them displayed in HomePort, you should save them into micro SD card.

Still some questions about GPSmap 620
Could it be possible to manage and edit information saved in menu "Offshore Services"?
- Fuel
- Grocery
- Ramps
- Repairs
- Restrooms
- Slips & Moorings
All these services are used in marine mode, but for unhappiness I have not found any services located at my country.
Thank you in advance!
Try find it in other country of Baltic?
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
Giomen, do you mean, I should try an other map or what do you mean under other country?
Do you know how I can enable realtime tracking using homeport on a GPSMAP 78
Azraphael, do you have SD card on this device? If yes, then try to find how to send your realtime tracking information into SD card (I assume tracking is enabled on your device and you see it on screen of it). Homeport looks to read data only from SD card.
just find the unlock map in the noeman website.
then put it in sd card inside garmin folder with file name gmapsupp.img
