firmware version in:Tools/Settings/System/About
Hello to all
I have a garmin 1390T and reading the user guide it seems that it is able to display the real intersection...(JCV files...right?)
My does not yet so I went to the nice tutor about this subject and wonder: is my 1390T already settled (from manufacture) for JCV file ?
How can I check in the firmware (version, number, or...) before attempting an upgrade ?
Thx for helping

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
I own a Nuvi 1490T, similar device.
The way I check JCV is to make a destination involving a major expressway.
Then in tools/settings/system turn the GPS simulator ON, and smulate the route.
On the Map screen, touch the top bar and hit one of the instructions. The screen will show a visual of that instruction.
Keep hitting the arrow on the bottom right of the screen until the Junction View bar lights up.
Then when you touch that Junction view bar, it will display the Junction View to be expected in that point along the route.

Thx Sbarro, it seems like the real intersection is not activated yet on my 1390T so will work on it

may be you dont have the right file in your device, or it's not in .System/JCV

Perhaps the route you chose did not have Junction View?
If you are using North America map set, a known Junction View in New York City: Route from N40.64078 W74.20522 to N40.92326 W72.71887 Try simulating this route in your unit.
And as Catymag wrote, check to see if you have that .jcv file.
OK, what I did:
I check in the hidden file system and find a JCV folder from my original map(coming with my nuvi) thus I check if real intersection works and it works with the former map.
So the problem I suppose is the compatibility of the JCV file and the map you select in the system, I notice also that the original JCV file had a ".sum" file , what is the purpose of this file ?
Where can I find the compatible JCV file for the map 2010.20?
Thx for helping
the JCV file and map are a set. i.e. an older JCV file will not work with a newer map set.
Where did you get that 2010.20 map? If you downloaded from Garmin, the JCV file should have been automatically updated as well.
.sum files are update related, can be deleted

use search in MAP section and you'll find map 2010.20 (CNEU or CNNAM ?) i hope jcv links are still good, but why not to update to the latest version ?

Hello to all
Problem solved, now it works
What I did: I downloaded the D3084020A.jcv and put it in a "JCV" folder on the SD card, the MAP 2012.20 and now it works so the problem was the compatibility...
Question: my 1390T is equipped with a microphone, does it works with vocal command (maybe after some updates) ?
Thx to all of you for your assistance
Cheers
