Default Sound problem - Nuvi 1410

    Hello!
I have a nuvi 1410 and a few days ago the sound stopped working.
I don't ear the navigation voices, the cameras alert, the sound when press the screen buttons, nothing at all. Plus the bluetooth also doesn't work.
I haven't changed any configuration and I have also restored the default settings.

What is strange is that sometimes, it works but most of the time not.

Any ideas about the problem or any troubleshooting advice?

    Help appreciated.

    Thanks

Ive read somewhere that a solution is to defrag internal memory with windows, but I donnow if it works and why.
I just can tell you , try
EDIT:If the windows defragger complains about lack of space, then temporarily move the map image file (gmapsupp.img) to another location on your pc, defrag the drive, then copy it back to the nuvi afterwards.

You have to navigate to get to the good.

    Default Solved out!

    Hi guys!
I think I solved the problem.
I restarted the device, according to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] as suggested by catymag.
After I did that it seemed to work fine but then I updated the device software with the garmin Webupdater and installed the (GCD File) software [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

catymag: the windows deffrager doesn't work for me.

    Thanks guys for your help.

    You can try soft reset.
    Turn nuvi on.
Hold buton on/off for 10 sec

If your voice stop working, make backup of your gpx folder, downgrade to version 4.90 with gupdate.gcd and turn nuvi on,wait to bluetooth upgrade (it show upgrade about 5 min) now you can update nuvi to latest fw with webupdater.

Older version of the FW will also help - 4.60, 4.40 etc.
