You do not understand! On my Nuvi with some installed incompatible maps i have address seaching mistake. When I be in all other country outside Russia margin, there are not possible choose country in Adrress and Intersection search. I may disable Russian map of course and all will be OK, but it is inconvenent for crossborder routing. So trick is in "Near...". If I choose any russian town in this "Near by..." option, then I may choose as any country so find any Adrress and Intersection in any country...
