    Angry garmin 720s and the map

    Hi ,

    as you see i am very new in using GPSMAP, I have garmin 720s , and I ,one of my frind give the red sea Map, the device arrive to see the map but do not show it in the screen , i do not what i do, really i need you help

    What do you mean with " the device arrive to see the map but do not show it in the screen" ?
    Is it in a Garmin folder in sd named gmapsupp.img ?
    One img per sd ?

    I mean with " the device arrive to see the map but do not show it in the screen , that the device information show that there is 2 maps 1 world map and the 2end is the red sea map but only the world map is working with GPS ,
    the red Map it is Garmin folder in sd named Garmin with 3 fils
    1- named gmapsup its img format
    2- gmapsupp its UNL file
    3garminDivice its XML format

    are you sure the Bc you had is locked ?
    edit :
    is your sd bigger than 2gb ?
    from Garmin FAQ :If it has been some time since you last updated your chartplotter/sounder, it is possible the maximum size SD card that can be used is 2GB.

    Could you please be more specific which RedSea map it is exactly.
    According to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], g2 and g2 vision cards are suitable

    no 1 the name should be gmapsupp.img not gmapsup.img

    i tray the unlocker ( Fast IMG Unlocker 1.9.exe) and it work very good ,

    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
