Is it possible to create symbol ( waypoint )
I want to create new symbol . I extract the *.gcd on my garmin i can view all the symbol i can replace one but i want a to add one . Is it possible , how ????

That was a fast answer Its for nuvi 255 and etrex legend HCX .I tried Ximage , POI loader

If you want just to add a waypoint symbol in your nuvi, here it is :
In Nuvi, you can easily add these references points, to help you remember your favorite locations. Once added to the GPS device, you can quickly get directions to and from the custom waypoint.
1. Turn on your Garmin Nuvi.
2. Navigate to the location you would like to save as a waypoint.
3. Press the "Where To" option from the main screen and press "My Locations."
4.Touch "My Current Location." Your location will be saved as a POI (Point Of Interest) and indicated on the map with an arrow.
5. Press "Save" on the bottom right side of the screen to save the custom POI.
You have to navigate to get to the good.

I will repete :I want to create new symbol for my etrex . I want to put a bird as a symbol for my waypoint on the map because i am a bird watcher and i dont want a deer or a truck on the map .On map source i have bird but when i transfert from map source to the gps it was a flag instead of the bird ,that why i want to have a bird symbol in the etrex .
