you need your bluechart *.unl file
Is there a file on G2 Vision card that Windows can't see? I just got my G2 Vision card today & before I put it in the plotter I copied all files to a file on HD, Then copied onto a new SD card 8gig plotter says can'unlock map. What am I missing???
It is on the disc & in my file it has a # about 20 or so digits
Disc has GMAPSUPP.GMA, GMAPSUPP.IMG, GMAPSUPP.UNL, GUPDATE.GCD Factory SD card works fine copy doesn"t
same one, I copied contents of SD BEFORE I put it in the plotter & only see GMAPSUPP.GMA, GMAPSUPP.IMG, GMAPSUPP.UNL, GUPDATE.GCD from factory card. I thought maybe another file Windows can"t see, But why would that be??
If the map is unlocked no need gma and unl files-
Gmapsupp.img must be alone in a Garmin directory in sd, if it's not the original sd, you have to unlock the chart and remove .unl and other files
