Garmin Base Camp vs Mapsource question
What's the difference? Why use one or the other. I am a dirt bike trail rider, will one of these versions give me an advantage over the other? If so, why.

I find it really slow as well. I don't see any advantage as a graphic map or in routing capabilities but was curious to see if I was missing something.

BC will load NON Mapsource made maps on your computer, you then will be able to use these maps as long as your gps is attached to your computer.
It will load and organize, tracks/route/waypoints. Much better then Ms ever did.
