Default Maps saved with MapSource won't show in country list

    Dear Forum,
I am a happy owner of a Garmin Nuvi 1250 Europe GPS navigator, which does not include Turkey as a standard option.

I tried to upload to to my unit some Turkey maps with MapSource. Everything seemed to work out OK, in the sense that the transfer went OK and MapSource can detect the presence of those maps on my unit even when using the "receive from unit" mode.

However, when I turn my Nuvi and simulate a new navigation session, the new country (Turkey) won't show up in the country list.

    What could have gone wrong?

    Thanks in advance

probably your Turkey map is locked in your unit
    use jetmouse keygen
    to unlock an unlocked IMG
use jetmouse keygen to create the unl file with notepad
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

on jetmouse keygen v1.5 put either the 10 digit gps unit id number (will be unlocked only in your gps)or the sd serial # (it will be unlocked in any gps you put the sd card
under-select map product --on the bottom ---custom map set---add the maps FID# also called mapid #

click generate a few times on the bottom-all those numbers will unlock the map--copy that 25 digit number into the gmapsupp.unl file --- don't add a enter --just 25 digits on the first line ----
on a sd card create a garmin directory--in that directory copy your gmapsupp.unl file (unlock file) and the gmapsupp.img
When you save the .UNL file in Notepad, be sure you set the "Save as type" to "All Files", not "Text Documents".
    moved to the right section

You have to navigate to get to the good.
