    Ref above
I have Streetpilot i3 and mapsource on my P.C. I have tried to dowload from this site a 2010 NT Europe maps, but after unzipping it my PC tells me that there is no mapsource files found.
I am a novice PC and i3 user so would you please tell me in simple terms :
    1. Which map should I download to get a 2010 Europe version that will be compatible with the i3?
    2. What miight I be doing wrong for the PC not being able to recognise the unzipped map?
I am sorry to be a nusiance, but I joined to learn how to do these things , so that one day I might be able to help others who are in the position that I am in now
    Thanks

    Hi
    The file I downloaded was
Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2010.1-FULLY UNLOCKED(MapSource6137)-ShareAll v2010_10
I had trouble with various parts of it missing but eventually got there.
The icons all show an Adobe symbol of the 'Y' shape on a red backgroung but they are .img files.
I have downloaded these files to a 2GB micro SD card, but the device tells me that no maps are loaded.
I have connected the device to the Garmin website to search for map updates but it tells me that none are available for my device.
Is there a way round this that would work.
    Any help gladly received.
    Thanks

The file I downloaded and unzipped was:

Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2010.1-FULLY UNLOCKED(MapSource6137)-ShareAll v2010_10

I had troubles getting all the parts together. When unzipped the icons all have an Adobe style to them i.e. a white 'Y' on a red background, but they show as .img files.
I have loaded these to a 2GB micros sd card, but the device shows that no maps are found.
I connected the device to the Garmin website to check for map updates with the result that 'no map updates are available for your device'
Is there a way around this or do I gust 'give up' ?
    Any suggestions more than welcome.

download this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

then create a folder named garmin on a spare card and copy the .img file to it and try it .If you don't have a spare card, cut and paste the original .img to a safe place and replace it with the new one.If things dont work out just change them back again.
