trying to get this dedent skin working for android need alittle help.

im trying to get this decent skin working on android and i have it working 95 percent or better but have some graghic issues im stuck on. there is one in the photo i would love to fix. any ideas

sorry for not posting more details the system is igo primo 2.4 for android the skin is a modified decent skin from windows. the resolution of the android radio running android 9 (pie) is 1024_600 most of it is running except for info bar the graghic problem there and 3 other graghic problems but other wise runs great. not sure what i can do to fix these problems.

the igo primo version is the igo pie android one from here. and the device is a android xtron car radio

sure thing i will post tomrorow when i get home from work so close i fixed the one glitch today with the progress route on the side.

here is the mod skin,to load make sure u can load it on a 1024-600 screen and do not delete your save files for some reason i wasnt able to get it to boot with an empty save file. this is a great clean skin so i hope we can get it working to its fullest. i exchange the .css file from the data zip to get it running and the correct files in css need to be fixed to fix the graghic problmes i just dont know enough right now to do it but i will keep trying.

I too am a big fan of Decent skin, everything I need and nothing I don't. I have been using it for years on my wince device

hey that be great if you can get this working better iÂ’m going to keep working on it as well but at this point iÂ’m working blindly at changing things and seeing what effects it has. i have this problem with decent skin on wince and itÂ’s driving me nuts. without the skins the street signs (like stop signed railroad crossing would show up on screen but no voice announcements and when i apply the decent skin i get the voice announcements but no stop sign or railroad crossing on screen well same thing is happing on android signs show up on screen no voice with decent skin no signs but voice.

hey thanks so much for that i will try and add that today and see what happens been playing around with it for over a week and havent made much progresss since i got it running.

also i forgot to posted which might be helpful is the orginal templates.css file. the one i posted was modified and allot of the stuff was taking out to get the skin to run and not freeze.

morco thanks that worked!! for the start menu. when i put in a route and go back and hit menu button it doesnt show the mini map in that mode of operation so i will look and see if i can add that string to another line some where. this is progress and it also let me learn where to look for problems. im going to post other pictures see if anyone has ideas on those.

these are the known issues after that it would work close to perfect.

the first picture is the route progress bar while it works its missing the color line im going to loook at a ux file i have and maybe able to figure that out. you will also notice up in corner that the turn grafics are alittle off but not a major consern right now.

the second picture is when you put in a route and it does a route overview its suppose to show the route on a map but i get this screen. also the three things on the right should be over to edge of screen.

next one is the three button on the right. they are clipped i would think this isnt to much trouble getting this worked out i have a three button ux file that may help.

the last picture which im uploading seperatly probally the hardest to fix. the infobar. i see it in the visual guidance menu. i can click on it and add all features but it doesnt turn it on as nothing changes but i took allot of code out of the posted file where i thought this might be.

there a few little glitches here and there but it does work nicely overall.

Rather than delete bits of code to try the effect, you can disable them by putting /* before the part you want to disable and */ after it. This works for multiple lines. I have also read that putting a semicolon ; in front of each line works as well but I haven't tried it.

when the graghics are shifted on the screen. is there a certain file for all the items that appear on the screen or does it depend on how the software was written? like the icon down the left corner is ok with the white part but the numbers are off well lets say there is another white box in right corner but it appears more so in the middle of the screen and out of place would that be located in the same area of the code or does it depend on how the code was written? thanks
