    Default iGo primo.exe problems

    Hi guys,
    I'm M, 50, Belgium.
I have a GPS Planet Navigation (A clone iGo 84H-3), who, untill recently, worked just fine.
Now the navigationsoftware (primo.exe) wouldn't start... (map ukraine or serbia fail...).
    Anyone can help me?
    Greetz from Belgium,
    Erik

Do you not have an idea? Did you make changes to software or other files?
Is the program -which version ? - original or did you get it here (or on another forum)?
Is the program on the device or on SDcard? If on SD, is the Sd okay?
When it don't start, is there any error message? Crash.txt? any clue?

    Hi there,
The software is the original one on the device.
    No changes where ever made.
Navigation software on the device is Primo.exe.
When starting up the GPS (navigation) I get following error message: I/O File error map Serbia etc. etc...
Other functions work just fine (music, windows CE 6.00 etc...).
I think the Primo.exe has been corrupted (no idea why), except I had to do some manual resetting quite often (button).
If I could install a new Primo.exe, I think my problem is fixed, just have to find it.
    Many Thx from Belgium,
    Erik

What you should do first is to delete the Primo save folder. Better is to renameit to save.old.
Do that and as a result (when Primo start up - it should) your settings are gone and a new save older is made.

I'm Primo reported crash, maps not found while navigating worked normally.

It is best to try more of the program, not everyone works well.

Good Primo 267029 WinCE and simple entry in sys. It works perfectly.

When you are on a cracked Primo (you are) the crash message 'maps not found' relates to a file that is only relevant for NavNGo programmers. There is no relation to missing map files (*.fbl).
Theerfor the crash is caused by other issues than missing country maps, but your post don't reveal that issue. Also the same remedy to do first (if the error returns more): first thing to do is always to delete (better is: to rename) the save folder.
