    Default iPAQ31xTools Problems

    I am trying to convert some images to igo bmp format but the software crashes mid way through the conversion, i have tried it on two different computers and also in compatibility mode too but still no change. I have tried downloading the software again but same effect.
    If someone has a copy of this software or an alternative could you please convert the images for me, I have attached them below.

    Thanks :-)

    Ideally I would like to use jpg image format as its much smaller.
    I am currently using the following in a ux file
    <image bmp="exapmple.bmp"/>

    I have tried
    <image jpg="example.jpg"/>
    but this does not work.

    is possible to use the jpg instead of bmp and what is the correct tag to use?

    you need to decrease the colour depth of your png images to a 256 colour palette. Rgb 8bits/channel is far too much for iPAQ31xTools to handle
