Default Nuvi 205 - USB Device Not Recognized

I do not have problem with any Garmin device when connect it to PC. But I have Nuvi 205 outside the this rule. When I attach USB this Nuvi have behavior as usual device. But PC show message "USB Device Not Recognized..." and do not attempt to connect to Nuvi. Throughout a few second after icon with PC connection had appeared the Nuvi reboot and go to navigation mode with external power!
Must I summon the funeral team?

I've had that behaviour when using a front USB port with some nuvis, but they have worked normally when a rear port was used. I'm sure you would be using a rear port though Giomen, but just though it was worth mentioning for the benefit of others.

Caty! I always say that you be master of magic power. You can see through Garmin walls and look beyond the horizon. Yep, I am be cunning. USB contacts is fried and have critical state but still be on place yesterday (I do not have a look today ). But I hope may be any trick would take place. I am bad surgeon due to my trembling hands. Nuvi does as well not respond to touch screen (only left lower corner give me a satellite page that based in left upper corner on normal device) but I need extract tracks from it. May be any thinks about touchscreen resurrection?

For info, microSD is jammed by cardreader and I am afraid to extract it without injury. So NV is not accessible too. In any case device is alive and is scrolling map with working GPS better then in new series. Old Garmin is tenacious of life as a cat.

Maybe unlikely a recalibration would help if the touch screen is that far out, but if you can reach pre-boot and wait 30 seconds does it go to the calibration screen? [maybe the preboot hold is not going to be in the top LH corner either].

Try to clean screen, maybe you have some dust on left uper edge and this is reason why you enter on satellite page when you tap on left lower corner of screen.

All problem remains but business was did. Kanopus is man! micro SD card was ejected like wine cork in field conditions - sharp boost with flat of the hand from opposite side of Nuvi. In the next place a role-playing game "the DOS and floppy disk". If think this device would give benefit as treker and further. As fact the sequence number of last archive track file is 217...
