help [SOLVED] Garmin 1690 SD Card

OK - I'm stuck! I have placed a gmappsup.img file on SD Card in a Garmin (and Map) folder but cannot get the unit to see the map. It is not available in the settings. Any help would be great. Thanks

More info needed Mate. Which map, how did you unlock? BTW, gmapsupp.img [not gmappsup.img] is the correct naming for Garmin folder, but in Map folder anyname.img should work.
