Mapsource Bluechart G2 problem

For a few years now I'm the happy user of Garmin Bluechart on a chinese GPS, but I have been trying to get the Bluechart G2 working but failt so far.

using:
Mapsource 6.16.3 patched
Bluechart G2 veu706L unlocked
Garmin Mobile XT on a chinese GPS wince 4.0

Mapsource is working fine and tranfers the GMAPSUPP.IMG file to the GPS unit, but nothing showes up on the screen. The file is in the Garmin directory , and is not empy.

What am I doing wrong !!

Mapsource cant see G2 BCs, use Homeport instead.
