Unhappy Gamin Map Pilot formatted SD card

    Hi Guys,

Long story short: I am stuck with an empty genuine Garmin SD Card (8 GB, for Audio 20 system, 2016 Mercedes A250).
Why is it empty? It stopped working suddenly (car says "No SD card with maps inserted") so I removed it and tried to fix it with the Download Manager (version 1.0.10 which I used in the past). The writing procedure always got stuck at 2.3% so I had the brilliant idea to format the card but when I restarted the software, it is not recognized anymore: "Storage medium not found"
I also tried version 3.0.12 of DLM and I can't get past the VIN number request, it says that the VIN number is not available.

Is there any way to restore the Garmin software on this card?

Thank you very much for any suggestion!

First, the card is not formatted but UNformatted - a generic message indicating that its contents are not recognized.
You didn't do anything wrong - the card died. This is not such a rare case. Recovery is certainly unprofitable.
You have to buy a new one.

But, complain to Mercedes, they should be able to meet your needs.
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

    Spoiler: obs
Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.
