Maybe any VIP members who have bought that level by making a donation should be left as they are, regardless of their post counts? I originally donated to get Master status not long after joining and certainly would've had a low post count at the time.
If VIPs haven't logged on for years it won't matter though. Many experienced users have abandoned the forum after the data loss for 11 months back in 2017 so none of them would care, or even know about a status downgrade i guess.
They will not be changed they require a certain number of posts to post in the Master forum
Update:
All new members awaiting Email are being moved to Verified Members all Registered Members do not change, the only thing that happens is the System moves some of them to Inactive status, because IF they don't post in 5–10 days then the system moves them.
All zero posters have 30–60 days to post "depends on when they joined" so the next clean out is June 2026.
VIP Members only see the VIP section when they have 25+ posts.
I will be looking at an Announcement Post to see if new members read it, and they get hints of extra posts, and this should give them 6 posts of which is better than 1 post.
When I do my clean out this is when I find the members that have posted somewhere else.
