I finally found the solution .
The problem was a miismatch betwen mp2shp utility and the map on Polish Format. There was a road on the map not included on the _types list.
This utility is very sensitive and it is necessary to check the list of types and all objets included on the map.
    Kind regards

See 'README' in the mp2shp distro:
If the last line of output was anything else then "Done", the shapes are most likely broken.
Always check the last line of the output and the content of _logfile.txt
    Read ibid.:
To get the list of types which are missing, type:

    ./_checktypes.pl file.mp

    and look at _missing.txt
Also, see "TROUBLESHOOTING" in the same place ...

P.S. Thus, it's better to install Cygwin or Linux on VirtualBox and you'll be happy ...

i tried to follow all the rules...but with the problema described before, I always got logfile.txt empty, I though It was OK. Some other times with a faulty type there was a report of missing types on the log, but with this missing roads il looked like all right, no info on the log.
I run the commandline utility on Windows 7 and the _checktyprs.pl has not change at all , never even with errors and with missing types. I have the original downloaded file with no change at all.
Sorry, where is _missing.txt? How can i find it?

    Best regards

In the case of missing roads, the log file will be empty, because the utility shuts down when a fault related to roads. But, in this case you don't get the "Done" in the last line of output, that's the main thing!

The _checktypes.pl - it's a perl script, see postscript to my previous post.
The _missing.txt appears after operation of this perl script.

    Hi
I have found a problem on te procces . I get img from MP with a shp imput obtained with the mp2shp tool but ona big map i have founds some routing lines without crossing point, that is wihot interconnections. On the original there ere perfectly but I lost several crossing points and consecuently I get error on the design of a route.
Does anybody kow how can I correct it ?.I asume it is a problema o the conversión of mp to shp.

    Kind regards

Thank you, nothing is perfect. I wonder the reason of not updating any more the mp2shp tool...to sell MicroGIS Editor.
After several hours working on that tool I assumed that at the end I could get a good result but with this problem is useless for routing maps.

    Kind regards

Can you lay out a piece of the source map in MP format with such roads, which then become nonintersecting (without interconnections) in the output map?
