Probably Oruxmaps have only limited support of Garmin img and do not read raster layer. Raster layer support is very limited even for Garmin units. Use raster source for your JNX directly in Oruxmaps.

Yes that's what i did eventually
i used okmap to convert the raster maps, that were used to build my jnx, into sqlite format for oruxmaps
But the use of garmin img seemed to be more simple, unfortunately it does not work for me.
Just for information do you know if oregon 300 can read raster img ?
You wrote that not all garmin units could do it.
Yes! It was the first portable device with support of raster layer and JNX.Quote:

Used with SasPlanet, it is the best tool of the year.
Thanks Alex
:good2:
Do you mean SAS -> JNX -> IMG or SAS -> IMG? :)Quote:

Hello Alex,
Usually, I use SAS ==> JNX ==> IMG. It is very good.
Currently I test SAS*** ==> IMG. My tests will be finished this week.
*** SASPlanet 160707 + SASPlanet_IMG.exe
SASPlanet_IMG.exe (md5sum: 3c92ef3ebe35531013624e8a1cceda19)

I tested the latest version of SAS Planet Nightly.
With their new function; Export; IMG raster map for garmin.
I apply your setting; Path to map compiler license and Path to GMT.exe.
I select a map in their directory, and exporting to IMG with SAS works very well.
But to convert with SAS Planet a JNX file in IMG. How do I proceed?
Should I change my JNX to .ZMP format, before converting it to IMG. Or you had an easier method ...
Or only your JNX2IMG tool can make this conversion ...
Existing JNX can only be converted to IMG with JNX2IMG tool.Quote:

Hello Alex,
I created a file directly from SAS to img and it works perfectly.Quote:

On the other hand as my global file is 6GB and FAT32 only accepts 4GB, I prefer to cut my file into four parts.
So I downloaded and processed four parts using SASPlanet_IMG.
Then I grouped using GmapTool the .img files obtained to have two of 3Go.
This process is perfectly suited to my way of working.
Another thing, a multiple jnx2img would be welcome
example : jnx2img.cmd c:\Maps\testmap.jnx,testmap2.jnx,testmap3.jnx... c:\Maps\testmap.img,testmap2.jnx,testmap3.jnx....
(google translate)
If you need to convert several JNX files into corresponding IMGs, this batch_convert.cmd script can be used:Quote:

Just place it in the same folder where jnx2img.cmd resides.Code:for %%i in ("%~dp1*.jnx") do call jnx2img.cmd "%%i" "%~dp2%%~ni.img"
It can be started like this:
Code:batch_convert.cmd "c:\path to a folder with lots of JNX files\" "c:\path to save IMG to\"
