I have a clear conscience. I know what I posted. My computer is very well protected. Crack, Patch, License ... verified with "VirusTotal" and did not detect any infection (everything was 100% clean).
Here you have proof that I performed the installation on my computer:

It seems to me that people like to inflate the matter because they do not have a wiser work. I think there are many, many more spies here ...

That is completely incorrect and dangerous advice to be quoting here.

These types of compressed self extracting executables are by design intended to obfuscate, the actual code embedded within is not available until unpacked by the system into memory at run time and virtually impossible to reverse engineer to check.

You have no idea what is in there, nor does your virus scanner as it's only analysing the compressed code and not the imbedded executable code.

If you don't believe me look at the compressed "patched" x64 global_mapper.exe that you are promoting which is 35,819 kb versus the 66,725 kb of the original in the installation package. Absolutely anything could be hidden in there that has now unpacked itself into your system. The fact that GM is also running as expected is meaningless.

For that reason I personally would never run them unless it's for a special reason in a carefully contained test environment I can wipe afterwards.

You need to contact to author of the patch personally and try to convince him that 32 bit OS is still actual at present

1) Install the program.
2) Copy the files of "GlobalMapper20.1_64bit" in C:\Program Files\GlobalMapper20.1_64bit and ovewrite existing files.
3) Copy the files of "ProgramData" in C:\ProgramData.

Your question ist too general to give an answer. GM is a tool to change, to convert or to merge maps. Watch the webinars on bluemarblegeo to see what you can do with GM. There is also globalmapperforum for more insight. The strength of GM is that it can read and write many different formats.
