sherco, could you embedded MPC_NAMEs into saved txt file. I often know MPC NAME but for searching it in program I need to open all objects one by one.

Or maybe somebody share table for MPC NAME with MPC name, type & subtype HEX, on-screen label in English...

Thanks! It will be very useful for searching and adding new object from map into existing TYP file.

@ sherco40, may be you can give a way to see house contours on City Navigator Russia on Nuvi 1xxx. I had played with DrawOrder but I can see only label with address from this polygon only when I pick known location. On original map there are even not visible labels...

I don't have Nuvi for testing...but I think that this typ file may fix your problem : I have coloured the buildings in black, the urban area in grey and adjusted the draworder.

Thanks! I test it! But I can see only labels under cursor on map as in my attempts. I tried use 3D map and I can see polygons but not any POI under its.

P.S. No problem with Nuvi 660 with all maps in this case!!! Garmin do not allow to show a many polygon in new SW on modern device...

    Hi,
with the help of genious TypViewer V4.5.7 I succeeded integrating original GarminExtraPois into CN 2015.20 NT typ file.
And it works! See post [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
(Load custom typ, select all text, copy, load original TYP, display all text, remove it all and paste)

The same procedure doesn't work on pid 3199 i0000c7f.typ Topo Switzerland V4 Winter.
Save the file quits with "An error appears when creating file. Error number 9. Description: Subscript out of range".

As there are only 14 ExtraPois in the original file, I tried definingt them in my custom typ file.
Save is ok, ExtraPois are in the typ file, but are not rendered by Basecamp?

It seems as if the 'link' is missing, or in french: les definitions sont la, mais ça croche plus...

    Thankful for any advice...
