    If there are no polygons in the typ-file, hence the standard coloration of polygons used in this map (standard, ie which is set by default in the map compiler).

    typ file from CN 2013.20 ( I0000A86.typ) doesn't contain any polygon (nor polyline and POI) , only extraPOI.
    So, polygons, polylines and POI are displayed with the default attributes which are stored in the rendering engine (i.e. Mapsource, BaseCamp or the firmware of the gps unit)

    @kenta2 and catymag
    thank you for your language files. I have updated the files on my web page [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    AFAIK you can't.
    I have never seen tool to see/edit the default attributes stored in the rendering engine.

    But if you want to change the attributes of an object (i.e. polygon, polyline or POI) you can add your own attributes to the configuration file of the map i.e. the typ file.
    Just use TYPViewer and add to the typ file the object you want to customize ( you must know the type/subtype of the object)

    Now all looks very nice in increased resolution, thanks

    One minor glitch, while drawing polyline pattern, preview on left is updated a bit incorrectly. But it is restored at next use of brush. This is visible in standard resolution too.

    I can't see that...
    Could you tell me exactly what to do in order to reproduce this?

    @Kanopus

    Never seen that.... I can't reproduce it...

    This occurs with every typ file? With every polyline? Only when the Edit window is loaded?

    Can you upload a typ file that produces this glitch?

    No file needed, you can start new TYP, add polyline and draw it with a single stroke. At the same time watch preview on left, it is wrong. If you break drawing and start again, then preview will be redrawn correctly.
