They don't offer an upgrade to Android 10 like most Chinese manufacturers does not.
Only buy a new one.
It seems to be normal these days, a 3 years old smartphone ? Oh sir, that's old ! Throw it away and buy a new one.

That has always been that way nothing new with these policies......
All Smartphone and Tablets and Head Units companies only offer a Android version updates for the life of the unit.Quote:

They will give you security updates a couple of times.
You can see in the specs of what ever new unit you want.
Most cases they clearly post what you get depending on the unit you buy.
Examples of smartphones:
Spoiler: Samsung Galaxy A53 128GB Black 5G
Spoiler: Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro 128GB Black 5G
It all comes down to how much you want to spend and what type of offer you are looking for.
But android updates are limited because new apps offer more items and need more memory to run these apps.
Plus Google puts more and more security in to newer Android versions that require companies to update their apps.
Seeing the head unit you have has limited internal memory that would not support newer apps that need new versions of android including space and speed of the Head Unit.
So for you it is best to stay with older versions of app so you can still use your Hard Units......
The apps I use on the Head unit work without problems ,also with the latest updates for them.
Don't need many apps ( like on a smartphone ) Navigation ( iGO Nextgen, no problems ) , musicplayer, DAB+ player....what else
do you need in a car.
With Copilot it's the first time I ran into this problem, most of the time I use iGO.
And about Google and security.....since when is Google worried about privacy and security ? Never was and will
never be. They exist of earning money by collecting our data and selling it right?
Same for the other data grabber Apple.

The Europe Premium license apk is not compatible on Android 14. Do you have the updated version? I'm trying to install this for the first time on my S23 ultra.
No, and there won't be. Not only with A14, a much older device is needed
Someone else has to create the license for you
