NUVI Nuvi 1360 accidental formatted, can't connect to PC, repeatedly ON/OFF

    Dear All,

My Nuvi 1360 was accidentally formatted by my friend.
Now, when turn on after Garmin logo display, it's self turned off.
When connect to PC, it's doesn't show garmin drive, but it repeatedly On and OFF.
I tried to factory reset by pressed bottom right of screen and power ON but its no help.
I tried to access pre-boot mode (Press and hold power button) but couldn't access pre-boot mode.

So, any advice to recover my Nuvi is highly appriciated

    read instructions here:

Before doing anything Drag&Drop the rgn file you want to flash to your device (it can be a normal firmware file or a file rgn extracted with RGN Tool or you got from Garmin or a kunix's cure) in Updater.exe and it will open in your desktop.

    Tick USB device...................................etc

    @juryang

You must first install garmin usb drivers and then go in pre boot, and in updater you mus set to usb, only then you can flesh.

    Default Thanks Catymag & lolypop000,

    Thanks for your kindly advice.
After trying many ways, now after entering in pre-boot mode, Garmin updater could detect Nuvi USB device and ready to flash.
But my present problem is Nuvi repeatedly reboot after connected to PC.
So, after Updater detect USB and I click "OK" button to start flashing, the flashing screen appear and process start initializing, the Nuvi immediately reboot. Then the updater error out as Nuvi no responding and stop flashing.
I have tried more than 20 times but it's always reboot at flashing initializing stage.
Please kindly advice me for further steps or solution.

    Thanks in advance,

    JUR

I add error after clicked "OK" ,=> flashing process started, => Nuvi rebooted (by itself),=> Error screen appeared

When you enter in pre boot and updater see your device and you click OK button you must still hold uper left corner of screen ( don't release finger from screen )
I think you remove finger from screen and this is way you have error or you whait to long and nuvi close pre boot.

When updater.exe see your device you have only 10 sec to click button OK if you don't click it on 10 sec your nuvi go out of preboot.

the right moment is when your device name appears in Updater.exe window, click to flash at once.
