I'm sorry, but Navsat is only compatible with Garmin.
There is no version to IGO, neither other kinds of GPSs...

I am new here and cant figure out how and where to download the igo8 navsat costa rica map with radar. A lot of info but I cant see a simple download here
Can someone help me. My map keeps going to 10 seconds and will turn off. The company I bought it from says that they had to install a copy because they
didn't have costa rica maps and that's the reason.

Good morning,
I want to install this map on my computer using Garmin BaseCamp, I wonder if somebody could explain me how I could do that.... :P
Thanks!...
Sorry for my ignorance,
This post (#150) talks about unlocking a map with MapSource (or that's I understand), it's the same procedure to install an *.img file on BaseCamp?
Because, I want to search for places and do routes on BaseCamp with this map of Costa Rica...
By the way, I'm really newby on this area (Garmin GPS files, BaseCamp, etc)!
take just this:
Change MS flag to 0 use Gmaptool/Write/Set version in header/MS/0.
Simply unlock the img with gimgunlock, copy the img in SD/Garmin. Start Basecamp and you'll have the map in your pc.[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
The rest was a reply to PUNGENTE
You have to navigate to get to the good.

@fuevarde, it's really a little hard at first, but this forum is all very well organized and intuitive navigation; try it!
Specialty the stick treads is important you read carefully! The rest is simply! Don’t give up!
The Mapsource has been discontinued by Garmin, and only the Basecamp keeps updating and adjusted to deal with the new maps increasingly complex (the last can read the maps in your SD after you correctly install then)... Use the GPS to calculate rotes and you don't need the basecamp at all.
However, the simplest and recommended that a beginner make the simplest and most effective; forget the PC installations (which still a bit puzzling; you will almost never use then, like the rest of us) and deal only with the maps to SD (.img extension) and gimgunlock (the second link below) that unlocks smoothly and without creating limitations use. Read the topics below, there is all information you want (also suggest the Google Translator, if you have difficulty with English).
Or the most simply! Put the .img file in SD/map directory, and the POIs in SD/Garmin/POI (create the folders, if they not exist yet), unlock the map (drag the icon from the map and drop it onto the icon of the gimgunlock.exe); and that's all! It's done!

A big hug, and ask more questions if needed.
However, all information you need is in the first link, and the program is in the second!
PS: catymag already response, but she has to care about this entire huge site and don't have much time to explain tip by tip as you demand, so, I assume that... Later you will understand she's response.

Hey, could you explain which one of the Maps would be the best? I have a Garmin 1490 and want to do it by sd card. Thanks a lot Jonas
