    Sorry,Caty....I honestly do not know people's dreams that you mentioned .... but I know that I tried it on 2 models with the latest firmware available, including the 250W I read two maps on SD
    The 1340 also uses the updated GMA .....
    Others do not know and I have limited myself to produce evidence made personally.
    To test, I renamed the file UNL and Cyclops are not processed, rightly
    As I mentioned, I also feel tonight on 25xx ... and you know if it works on that.

    Bye,bye

    EDIT:
    I did other tests
    I also tried with a map section with MS to another nuvi Locked NT EU 2013.40 (LM)
    UNL files created for the Cyclops Italy and map NT
    Previous Master-reset for ALL device
    Results:
    nuvi 250W (410 firmware) Cyclops works fine..also in route active. Also the map works fine
    nuvi 1340 (620 firmware) Cyclops works fine..also in route active. The map no works
    nuvi 1440 (620 firmware) Cyclops works fine..also in route active. The map no works

    nuvi 2595 (770 firmware) Cyclops no works. The map no works

    Eagle-eyed Caty (as usual). I totally missed that you were running 4.1 on that 250W of your Rog, i'm sure you had a good reason for having such ancient fw other than to show 2200+ FIDs tho'. What fw are you running on the 1340?
    Could it be that Rog had good reason for thinking as he did? Haven't looked at the other stuff in Pietu's original files pack until now. Interesting is the jpg file:

    I dont know which conclusion we can reach, .gma works for some products and not for others, it works in some firmwares and not in others! Garmin drives me crazy lol

    Yeah, sorry, i made that post just before you did the edit with the extra info. BTW, i'd believe you if you told me the sky was green and the grass was blue (anything's possible in Kentucky though!).

    This is very interesting.

    Unlock codes work in:
    2x0 (your test), and i'll check soon in 255 to make sure they work in 2x5 as well as 2x0;
    13xx/14xxx (i've just confirmed your 1340/1440 tests. In my 1300 US v6.2, original works with jm code).

    Don't work in:
    25x5 (you tested) and that means not in 24x5 either;
    35x5 (i tested) and that means not in 34x5 either;
    and probably not in any xx (i tested in 40>42 convert - doesn't work, will try soon in x0).

    I'll also test in 23x0, 37x0 & nulink 1690 when i can.

    I guess Pietu has a 2xx or 1xxx judging by his jpg guide.

    Not quite so. Garmin have its timesheet. From version to version they gradually cut off 2200, 2300, 2400, 2500 and so on...

    Not quite so though ... 2xx & 1xxx have had fw updates after Jan 10 and yet no protection for Cyclops only for maps. I just wonder why they have not bothered to implement it for those older devices, an oversight? I mean, if they did it for maps in 2xx & 1xxx why not for cyclops gpi too.

    I think it is simpler than we can think. On this devices there were samples of Cyclops with old FID. Why Garmin must to bothered about it?!
