About Garmin maps Additions files (gmap3d-JCV-gmaptz-ASR-G2S)

I have a 2445 and want to use .jcv files for my additional map. The unit came with full Europe map and junction view - works fine. I want to have an additional map on the micro sd card and if poss use the corresponding .jcv file.

I've tried putting the gmapsupp.img file on the card and the unit will recognise it if it's in the sd\garmin folder. I put the .jcv file in sd\garmin\jcv and no junction views show up on simulate route. I'e tried putting the map in sd\garmin\maps but the satnav doesn't show the additional map at all!

Any clues as to how to get the additional map to work with the .jcv file for it? Thanks

Capital letter M for Map
SD/Map/anyname.img, probably gmapsupp.img too, but this naming is good if it's in Garmin folder, not sure it works if it's placed in SD/Map
Sd/Garmin/JCV
But you could read post n1 and check [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Just tried in in sd\Garmin\Map and the 2445 does not recognise the additional map unless it is in the sd\Garmin folder. I can use the map just fine - just the junction view doesn't show up

read with care it is: SD/Map/anyname.img not sd\Garmin\Map

My mistake - sorry

I've moved the map to sd \ Map \ gmapsupp.img and the map and navigation work fine. The .jcv file is still in sd \ Garmin\JCV\ but no junction views show. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong still?

Exactly which map? And which file JCV?

does ASR works on Iphone app of garmin

The map is CN north america NT2013.30 and the .jcv file is D3191050A.JCV

No...this file JCV is for NA 2013.10
