Place your *.gpi files in a folder named POI directly in root of either sd or 1300, or in Garmin folder of sd. As with the Map folder you can have a Poi folder on both, but the 'poi' folder name is not case sensitive like 'Map' folder.

try to save your POIs to the \Garmin\POI folder on the SD card
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Thanks to Neil and catymag.....I'm pretty sure I get this mother loaded for bear! VERY anxious to give it the test and hope it don't go all bad once I'm there. I'll be toast......"Dead Meat".....to quote the kid in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.
This forum has got to be one of the most pleasant, helpful places I've ever been in. I want to help to the extent I can. As I noted, I have Lifetime updates to USA North America and when it comes time for the next update (any day now I do believe) just tell me what I need to copy and paste and I'll upload to somewhere so all can use. HI! I did the same, and i still have my book, and I was able to copy their maps and POI's!
I will look for them, and will poste them here That map is a RAC version (Rent-A-Car) and the ones we get here are Retail.
