Automatic Navcore Installations

Ok I found the LoquendoTTS "Kate" I installed it & tested it, it works once for the test, but then does not work unless I select another voice, I then select Kate again & it works just once, I have installed the "serena" Vocaliser voice & that works fine, but the Loquendo voice just will not work, any ideas?

How much Ram is free?
Have you thought about using a different NC? The 9.450 with memory boost is reported to wrok fine on most devices.

As it is not my unit, I have installed 9.205.547817 Navcore, 5.5242 Bootloader & the "serena" Vocaliser voice, it takes a while to boot up, but the owner says it has always been slow to start (a hardware fault, maybe) & she is happy with it as it is. if it starts causing problems, I will try the 9.450 N/C as you suggest

I thought women liked things "slow to start with"

PS you could try running clearflash.exe 3 times just to clear out any cr4p?

Oh she does lol, I have already ran clear flash 3 times, I think the hardware is just getting old (like me) If the unit gets worse I might try the0.0001 B/L & then try a different B/L but for now, if she is happy, so am I lol

DO NOT start playing with bootloaders....it very often ends in tears!

I have managed to get it starting fine now, I had not checked the .bif settings to reflect the new B/L, so it is all finished, I changed the B/L to the one that I am now using, because I may need to use an SD card larger than 2 GB if she needs the full Europe map, (she travels in Europe a lot because of her work).
I only ever resort to changing a B/L if I need functionality that is not on the already installed B/L, or as a last resort, to try to fix a major fault

Good news; NOW DO A FULL WINDOWS BACKUP!

It's first time I use your navcore auto installation...
Before, I used SE Navcores by TTUser but with yours, it's very easy; there is no difficult as a beginner.
I take Nav 9.051 on brother's GO 520. It work perfectly
