I have a go710 & will be using 9.205.547817, am I able to do a clean install after I backup the device (run win flash, run the navcore auto exe,) & then add my map, voices speed cameras etc, & then run auto activate for my map? the reason I want to do this is because the device has never been updated & is hanging sometimes, so a clean install might clear the problem.
Also I want to be able to use an sd card that is over 2 gig so I need to flash a bootloader, 9.205.547817 does not seem to have one, so if I add the systm file & the bootloader config file from 9.150.554646, will this work

For SDHC you only need BL 5.5112 or 5.5120, which is included in the 8.351 NC for example.
It is also quite possible that your internal HDD is dying, so using a SD is recommended to prevent further problems.
The bootloader file is named "system" - no ending and no other files needed.Password for all my files: downunder

Maybe worth running clearflash.exe 3 times before you resort to running everything from an SD card too

Thanks for that, I was intending to use an SD card, for that reason, I will use the bootloader that you recommend, hopefully that will sort the hanging problem out

Ok I have got everything updated using the 9.205.547817 Navcore, Bootloader 5.5242, on 1 1gb card I have installed map United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_890_4234 & on a 2gb card I have installed map Western_Europe_890_4238, everything works, & the device no longer hangs, the only problem I now have, is I can't get the LoquendoTTS voices to work, I need the English (uk) voice & cannot seem to find it, any help would be appreciated
