I don't have either of those units to test, but in any case the method for entering the diagnostic menu in never shown in the user manual or the visible menu options. The generic method for most nuvis and a link to a thread to find hidden menus ('easter eggs') some units is an [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. There are a few sightly differing ways, one might work, just try them. Good luck.

Both your devices do not have the option for showing of card ID. No software help you too! Exception are some build-in card-riders as mentioned above.
Only owners of Garmin Nuvi can help to you. Or you can try install a Garmin Mobile XT program what will suitable for you smartphone if you have it...
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

I don't have an android phone (yep, still with symbian), so can't test it but if you can find the android app 'SD Tools' mention in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], it will apparently give you the serial in hex. Convert it to decimal (without reversing it) and you will have it (reportedly).

i do have 'SD Tools' already on my galaxy, but i must have an older version as there is only an option to do a speed test of the micro sd card no, but no other info, and when i go to google play it now says something about linking accounts or something like that, but more info gathering stuff from them, they probably want my blood group and NI number now, they know more about my life than i do.
im in the middle of moving home at the mo so will have to look into this when im moved.
