It is routable? Junction view? POI? Speedtrap?
Sorry, couldn't help it. This is awesome!
Garmin Antarctica mapsource
For those who might want to travel to the Antarctic this is a nice map
It includes the Antarctic between the 60th and the 89th degree of longitude. The mapset can be downloaded as .exe file, which integrates itself directly into Mapsource from where the map can be sent comfortably to your Garmin device
This map covers from -60 to -89 degrees south latitude. This map was derived completely from NIMA's VMAP0 database

Routes are only available to treasures of the Third Reich! Junction view is only for submarine and helicopters! POI are only for PenguinDonalds (very good fish a la carte)! And not need Speedtrap, anybody drives to according rules - police at every step and the nearest judge is on other end of world...
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
Yep - I just drove from "pack ice" to "pack ice" to "mount erebus".
Arrived and now enjoying a passionfruit icecream.
Sorry mods.
Hello Caty,
Can you reupload the map? I need a map for island Livingston.

Thanks Caty. I suppose there isn't something newer than 2009, eh? Not a very often destination.
Planning a visit to St. Kliment Ohridski Base (База св. Климент Охридски) are you ddab? Very doubtfully much has changed on Livingston Isl or any of the South Shetlands in the last 20 years nevermind the last 5. Should only take a matter of minutes to chart any corrections. I have a few days off and it's very hot here, wanna meet there for coffee? Or a haunch of penguin perhaps.
Yeah, let's do lunch! Meet you at the helipad ok?
What?? It's not the only OT in this thread ...... Not much to see for Livingston Isl in BC anyway:
Surely there's better paper charts around anyway, BG has made some including the one for the Base above:

He-he-he, Neil. :D No, not my self. I am doing a favor to friend who is going there. Yes, he is going to the St. Kliment Ohridski Base. Where else? After I wrote the post I figure out the same about the topo maps. Silly me.
BTW this place is even not mapped in the Garmin basemap. (Maybe I should change the basemap) See:
Coordinates of the point:
S62° 35' 12.7" W60° 25' 09.3"
Now here is calibrated the 1:100 000 Topo map in Garmin .kmz. Could be useful to someone traveling there in future
