Catymag, your prompt and kind response is greatly appreciated! Unfortunately, gk_mod.exe and jmgkg13modTMCExp.exe work for TMC only (i just realized it).
Can you, please, mention what were incentives for Jetmouse to disable Expiry period option in the keygen and expressively state it? Is there a chance to get keygen with Expiry period option enabled that will work for img and gpi files created with Garmins's MPC? Several forum members posted that there are various benefits of having keygen with expiry period set. Thank you!

Jetmouse kg has been already modified once, do you remember checksum fix ? May be the same person can do it.

No, many other GPS models are on the list of compatibility of Garmin page, just take in the acquisition sequence to check the signature. Will be asked for ID of the GTMxx and the code signature is given automatically. From what I could check in this list, some GPS models are compatible with the GTM20, but there is the possibility of it not working if you use it in another model off the list, because some GPS firmwares can not handle some parameters (as ecc) of some types of signatures. If your intention was just to get the parameters of the official Garmin to study it, I can save work for you: 30721,1,1. I find very curious that in Portugal, with Garmin Traffic Free service, no signature is required and no configuration, tuning is automatic (no providers and parameters in trafficproviders.xml). In the case of Bulgaria, even with free Garmin Traffic, is required signature. I've also found that even in countries where the service is paid, you can use it without any signature, just knowing the frequency of radio transmitting TMC and manually setting it (Developer Info/GTMStatus/Test, in Nuvs 13/14xx US fw, easier in Asians fw), attending to that the automatic scanning are in the same parameters that appear in the FM Table of tuning (cc/ecc/pid/ltn). I understand then that the parameters (cc/ecc/pid/ltn) are broadcast on radio and tuned automatically by the receiver GTMxx and the signature is only one element that can facilitate (or complicate) automatic tuning correct, especially when more than one radio with RDS (Traffic ) in the region, but even in these cases of multiple transmitters Traffic, we can manually set the tune and use the service without problems .. So, from what I could see the signature looks more like a smart way of Garmin to make more money than an absolute necessity for using the service. It remains to check if is a rule or are isolated cases ..

I wonder if the FID 28992 can be used to DISABLE the Ad-supported NAVTEQ - it is annoying me that the same receiver on a nuvi 855 will have ad-free NAVTEQ and on a 765T will have ads.

LE: It "took" the delete code, now I just have to wait to see if the ads re-apear.

There is just one traffic service in Bulgaria and it is free. Premimum traffic is just new name of old traffic service. I'm not aware of Garmin future plans about the traffic in Bulgaria, but so far no official statements about changes.
The procedure how to activate it is described in Garmin Bulgaria web page and it is quite simple: use the link from first post of catymag on previous page -> add to cart -> checkout -> user name & pass for myGarmin -> activate now button -> again activate now button on next page -> you should select your model -> enter your unit trafficID (how to find it /tools-settings-traffic-(subscriptions)-add/) and enter it in the field -> you will get the code. That's it.
It is reported that traffic in Bulgaria works well with all nuvi units with traffic receivers incl. old one. Unfortunatelly it's accuracy is still not good. Do not expect miracles from it.

What is the practical meaning of these unlock codes with expiration?

I guess they want to "sell" the maps to people and get "return clients" when the map expires. Personally, I am against that.
Plus this thread is not the proper place for that discution about maps.

@Superduper67. You wrote that "thread is not the proper place for that discution about maps". However, you commented pretty harshly on my post, so I have to reply in order to clarify my point.
There are different reasons for Garmin map users to generate .unl files with expiry period. wp3gi ' s reason (posted here at noeman) is "JetMouse 1.5 has no way to set an expiration date on the keys it generates so that means that JetMouse cannot be used to generate the Premium Ad-Free Subscription Code."
My personal reason is to make someone who gets maps I made in MPC to go to certain website and get newer version periodically. This is done to remind people that newer and BETTER version of map is available and it can be downloaded at regular location. If someone prefers to use old version he/she can simply apply Garmin Unlocker and forget about the need for .unl files. So I can not see anything wrong in my actions (except for Garmin proprietary rights). Most of us here support idea of free maps and software sharing, so to accuse someone so easily of trying to "sell" maps and "return clients" is pretty harsh.

So you want to sell those maps periodically, via limiting the period of functionality? That's what I said in my statement. I didn't make any accusations, I just stated my personal preference. Since a stock Garmin device will continue to work with obsolete maps, I don't agree with the ideea of crippling somebody's device on purpose.
    Nothing personal.
And yes, JetMouse CAN be used to generate Premium Ad-Free Subscription Codes (for TMC).
    TMC is always lifetime.
