Is coming any new update for actual Firmware 3.40 for Garmin 62?
Thanks
Patcher 2.8 it's ok to Oregon 550 fw 5.0, BirdsEye is fine. Probably also will work with 62..

I have no normal support to Garmin in my country. so if it will be stacked and hard-reset will not help, I will have a huge long resolving problem. So I am sure disappointed from garmin custom map limitations on kmz format, but prefer to reduce the risk to stay without gps long time. So Let us wait for the developer word.
Just to remind - needed firmware putcher support to new 3.40 Garmin firmware for garmin 62s.
Thanks
Ok. Looks like it worth to try. How do I perform hard-reset on Garmin 62 if needed?
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is the complete list of the firmware versions supported by the patcher and tested in real devices.
You can always refer to this table to check if some FW version is supported or not.
BTW, I have GPSMAP 62s, and I always check the patched firmwares in it before releasing the patcher, or before marking a version as supported and tested in the version list.

I have a Garmin Rino 650 that I updated before applying the patch. I am unable to find a previous GCD file of previous version (2.2 or 2.4) after several days of searching and an email to garmin. Patch will not work without reverting to prior version, then applying the most recent patched GCD. This is a new product and i think the 2.6 might be the 1st update to the software/firmware.
Any ideas on where to obtain the original firmware for the Garmin Rino 6xx series?
Masters?! What about changing a numbers of version (ex.2.61) in patched GCD files?
