Great Britain Discoverer National Parks 1:25k Lake District-Brecon Beacons-Peak District

I am a newbie owning a Garmin Oregon 550. I have been trying to access maps for Great Britain Discoverer National Parks 1:25k - particularly Brecon Beacons, Pembrokeshire Coast Path & Peak District - but any of the others (Lake District & Dartmoor) would be good.

As I am unable to access Megaupload (a BT Internet issue I think), are there any Mirrors.

If your Megaupload / BT problem is based on DNS filtering you might try another DNS than the one offered by BT. Either change the DNS settings or make an entry for Megaupload in your host file.
I've also added 3 Multiupload mirrors in post #1.

Using hardcoded IP resolving in the hosts file.
Edit the "%SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts" file and add:

Editing and saving "hosts" in Windows Vista or Win 7 needs administrator rights. Open editor like notepad with right-click and run as Administrator. %SystemRoot% normally expands to C:\Windows.
If the IP address changes then the hosts entry will be outdated and needs updating.

I tried everything that you suggested ie registered to dns & updated hosts file but still unable to download from Megaupload.
However was able to use the Mirrors without any problems.
After sorting out the maps, I will have a go at Birdseye - thanks again.

Hi Mordorf , thanks for the fantastic thread!

As a new member and a relative new garmin user i have been trying to acquire the lake district maps, however they seem to have gone down with both the full links and the mirrored links appearing to be down. I would be extremely grateful if you could re-up these maps as i am currently in the lakes undertaking some university work for 5 weeks, i already have the 1;50000 but the higher detail in the 1:25000 would be invaluable,

i would be eternally grateful if you was able to do this, university doesnt allow money to be spent on such things :/
