I have a problem. I have an older Garmin 276c GPSmap unit which is used in conjunction with dirt biking. It has the Garmin Proprietary card (eprom) that maps are transfered from MapSource to the unit with or on.
This morning I was looking at an old version of Garmin Roads and Recreation and inadvertently transfered a map I was working on to my 276c. On this unit, the proprietary card is erased of previous info and re-written with new the new information.
When I realized my mistake, I went to transfer the maps from City Navigator 2010.1 (which I want to retain for various reasons) back to the unit. I am now getting unlock code errors. I installed CNNA using the Jetmouse unlocker after downloading the maps. It worked perfectly. Now I cannot transfer the maps back to the unit with MapSource and the 276c both citing that the maps are not unlocked.
I suspect it might have to do with the version of MapSource as it updated since installing it initially, but I am not sure. My MapSource version is 6.15.5 and the map is City Navigator North America 2010.1 I want to keep this version as many of my riding buddies use this version and it avoids map recalculations when we all use the same version of CNNA.
Advise please.
