Downloaded MPC and it seems to work. However, would like to read up on the options and wonder if someone has a manual/tutorial for MPC and is willing to share it so that I and probably others can try to make a map which works. Thanks a lot.

I had same problem with MPC. Then I tried to make the instaling file with Mapsetoolkit. MPS created de img file and the Mapsetoolkit creates the installer on Mapsource. It works!!!
Can anyone try this solution also and report other problems?
I couldnt get locked maps yet wich is my goal, but I am still trying. Does anyone got it?
