iGO8 Malaysia and Singapore POI
Here is the POI that is lacking in iGO8 Malaysia Map, total around 86000 POIs. I retrieved the POI from the latest malsing map, and convert it to KML files which is readable by iGO8.
Installation instruction:
Just extract the KML files from the POI.rar file in attachment and copy them to this folder: \MiniSD Card\iGO8\CONTENT\userdata\poi\
Don't copy all files to the device as too many POI will make the program loading slow and consume more memory, just select the regions that you need for example Selangor.kml or Kuala Lumpur.kml and copy to the device.
When POI is loaded for the first time, the program will pause very long time at the startup screen to generate the index file, just wait only, next time the startup will be normal again.

Hi, I have install to my POI but still wont work? my version is 8.0. and where is the latest malaysia map?

Which Malaysia map do you have? I have Malaysia_83_TA_2010.06_100827, don't know if it is newer than yours...

Malaysia & Singapore iGo poi ..Files converted from custom poi mfm garmin .gpi to .kml to be use in iGo ..Extract the files and put in iGO/content/userdata/poi .. ..Dont know if it is work or not at your device but its working in my android iGo primo using Gjak_Arine_2.0_46 skin ..
