what is the difference between this maps and standart cityXplorer?
is this maps works in other nuvi who support pedestrian mode ?
@Ballebar, I can only say as it is with my 3790, assure you all maps are updated through garmin.
I dont live in Mebourne, say im about 60ks away, With POI / Transit / ground transportation, nuvi only lists from 2.3k to 49ks and will only show whats within this area, I would have thought if my state is "victoria" it would come up with all including "Flinders street"
As far as "cummuter railway station", its empty.
I think you may have seen my point of view different as when people type things they can be taken bit different to intention.
Not to use "maps" as folder name in SD card, my oppology there i did mean "map" not "maps"
All my other maps EG. Topo's are in my Map folder on Sd, What i found is that one gmapsupp.unl will run both Melbourne and Sydney senis, I have not tried others as not needed.
Your shown example of cityxplorer is same as mine and as i said it works same, It seems its the operator and not unit that needs bit more operational experiance. But have issue with Garmin and rail stations as not all are listed, BUT can be found if you do a search on unit! you can find flinders station this why, but as far as it being listed where it should be, sorry to say its not there.
thanks for your input and continuous effort for Catymag.

You can see the difference in GmapTool
They work with all Cityxplorers compatible devices
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
When the map is with FID 800, why we have to create unl with fid 800 ?
Little confused
Use JetMouse Keygen to create an unlock code for your Unit ID and Custom Mapset with MapID --> 800.
To unlock MMR (pedestr. features&Public transports)
otherwise in 37xx series the usual unlocking in normal CXs doesnt work-
edit: I add a further explanation coz seems it's not yet clear
37xx CXs are unlocked, but not unlocked in MMR section, so your gps can see the map, but you cant use pedestrian features and public transports if you dont add an .unl file made for FID 800- This FID has been altered by pop222-
MMR section contains these special features and are locked
Normal maps are good to unlock in ped and pubb. trans. just in other compatible devices like 12xx or 13xx eg. with FID and PID RegID you can find in normal CXs threads , in 37xx cant unlock special features it wont work, you need special FID 800 maps-
So if in 37xx you want to have public transports you need special FID 800 map and an additional .unl even if the map is unlocked-
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Greetigns All!
I know you've been talking about the 37XX series, but has anyone tried another series to see how it works? In fact, after reading here, I went to dig into Garmin and I found this:
"Only 1 region can be downloaded directly to devices that do not support pedestrian navigation. Additional regions can be downloaded to individual data cards."
So it seems that you can load it on the unit, but with the restriction of ONE img and probably it will have the restriction of being the standard gmapsupp and so one... and of course some restriction or also not full feature, but... I'll give it a shot and let you know....
Marcio.... have you tried it by any chance!
Thank you guys.....
You can have all the CXs you want in your sd, please look at explainings in other CXs threads-eg.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
You can have Sydney, Rome,Newyork and Prague :np
Normal CXs work with all their features adding the right code made with JM kg in compatible devices, except 37xx series, in other devices they are exactly like portions of City Navigators.
You have to navigate to get to the good.

I try'd to unlock the CityExplorer files to use with my Nuvi 3790 - no luck
My 3790 don't see the maps ... they are on my SD-card. (try'd the /Garmin map and root, none is working)
Who could contact me to help me unlocking the CityExplorer files ?
THANKS
follow instructions in post one and use files from post one, not other files downloaded elsewhere
