*****ing set of maps. Had a little trouble with the Hotshare server but the Multiupload links worked just fine. Thanks

Just to clarify, seeing as the abuse filters have kicked in. This is a c.r.a.c.k.i.n.g set of maps! not a "poor" set :-)

Hi, I have loaded the .rar files with Multiupload, but get the following message when uncompressing:
! CRC failed in GMAPSUPP.IMG. The file is corrupt
The files are no longer available in HotShare.
Could you please have them available again ?

links work, try to download with jdownloader , you wont haveCRC failed problem, btw it's better you download the files from post 40(no "Wrong MPS records size" caused by old unlockers)

Hi all, i have tried(and failed!) with this for a couple of days now and dont seem to be getting anywhere, I could really do with a hand but and usless with computers so please bear with me!!
I have downloaded the 4x .RAR files, unzipped them and now have the GPSMAPUPP.IMG file, created a GARMIN folder on my SD card and copied the .IMG file into that folder. I also downloaded the patch on post #40 as I am going to use it in my garmin 450 marine chartplotter and was not sure what to do with that so copied into my GARMIN folder also. I have turned on the plotter inserted the card, it recognises it, as it comes up with GARMIN VEU706L 10.50 a progress bar comes up for a second and loads for a couple of seconds and then nothing! Not sure if I am missing something really obvious, my only option after this is to select the option 'merge from card', if I select this on my plotter a black screen comes up with nothig on it so it looks like it is not recognising (sp) something. Any help is appreciated, really sorry if its something obvious, I always struggle with this kind of stuff, must be too old!!

The file in post 40 is the map , the corrected map, you just need that gmapsupp.img in your sd.
Delete the other map from the sd and retry

If you had an error message from winrar , probably you had something wrong in your download, use a download manager and try to redownload . Btw should be better you download the files from post 40 with jdownloader, that map will work better with all its features

When I split the repaired VEU706L chart to use with mapsource, the log says that there are maps that exceed the 10 degrees. In Mapsource I have double or triple wreck symbols and buoys. Any idea what is going wrong?

BCs arent made to show in Mapsource, use Homeport instead.
put the gmapsupp.img in a Garmin directory in sd and attach it to your pc , Homeport will show your map.
Anyway if you want it in MS read
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
but the only advantage is you can print the map
